When the Apostle Paul was saved on the Damascus Road, God separated him from everyone else. Paul found something different to the other disciples, for he’d caught on to a revelation they hadn’t seen. It was the 5th Gospel.
Seven times a day I praise you for your righteous laws. Psalm 119:164 King David was really into praising God and he says in Psalm 119 that 7 times a day he would praise God for His word. Of course we should be praising God all the time for the wonderful things He has done for us, but David said he set aside certain times each day in his busy schedule to praise the Lord, and specifically for His word. What were these 7 times?
Most Christians understand the meaning of forgiveness of sin when they take communion but dont realise that God has also provided healing for us as well. We need to discern His Body as well as the blood. Discerning the body brings healing when we break bread. We need to make a difference between the bread and the wine.
Communion is not just a ritual to be observed. It’s a blessing to be received. The wonderful blessing of health and wholeness.
I have discovered something that has really revolutionized my Christian life - waiting on God for His dew in the middle of the night. It's been a game changer for me.
Jesus gave the most important meal ever to us. He said, "This is my body that is given for you." This meal, so simple and yet so necessary, brings forgiveness of our sins, healing and deliverance to those who partake.
Jesus reminded us when we break bread that He gives us His body. He also tells us in the word that in His Body is the fullness of God. When we partake of communion and feed on Him He will become our life.
Our God is not a stingey God. He is a generous God the God of abundance. The God of Much Much more. Allow the word of God to increase your faith with this revelation.
In our walk with God this principle of one thing ruining everything applies big time. You can have all the world’s goods and miss out on the most important thing of all. It may seem little and of no consequence in the eyes of the world but without Jesus your whole life is pointless. He is the missing ingredient. Jesus told Martha. “There is only one thing worth being concerned about, and Mary has discovered it.” That one thing was a revelation of the wonder of Jesus. Mary saw His worth and so can you. Come and appreciate that one thing too.
When Jesus rose from the dead the stone was rolled away. The stone is still rolled away, there is nothing to stop us enjoying the resurrected life. In fact the Church should be understanding this more and more as we get closer to Christ’s Coming. This is the 3rd Day when we go one to know Him. He will come upon us like rain.
The joy of following Jesus is available for anyone who wants it. If your faith seems difficult and boring, you're not alone. But don't let that discourage you because Jesus has a way for all of us to find joy in following him.
